7:17pm: Fanfiction Masterlist
Here is the masterlist of all my fanfiction, organized by fandom, pairing, and series where applicable. I want to make my life easier when linking back to previous parts of other stories. And I flatter myself that anybody interested in my stuff will appreciate the easier navigation. It's a work in progress. Everyone is welcome and comments are love, even on older stories. Especially on older stories.

Swiss asked for a fic in which House saves Wilson, saving being taken any way I wanted, but not too trite. I hope this fits the bill. Title: The Gesture Fandom: SG-1 Pairing: Jack/Daniel Rating: G Note: Yes, I have contributed to the joy that is sidlj and jd_junkie's Jack/Daniel Baby-a-thon! I, too, have a not-so-secret love of Jack and Daniel calling each other 'baby'. BTW - that's what it's about, not Jack and Daniel having or being babies. I had planned on pimping my favorite when I posted my own, but I love them all. Umm, be sure to check out Snow, baby by mornincamper and Oh, Baby by magnavox_23 and oh heck, just read them all. Then go forth and drabble, and earn my undying devotion. Summary: Jack makes a major life change and a phone call. Jack listens to the phone ringing 1500 miles away from him and almost chickens out in the few seconds between the click of the phone being picked up and the first hint of answer from the phone's owner.

7:48pm: A double drabble for Christmas. (Adam/Tommy)
Fandom: PR - set after OAR Pairing: Adam/Tommy Rating: PG Note: A christmas present for serpentine85 who asked for some Adam/Tommy slash. Please go check out the Jack/Sky gift she wrote me, Our First Christmas. It's warm and Christmas-y and very cute. Adam dropped Kira off before heading to his own home in Reefside, absurdly grateful to be home but weary to his bones. He slid into his bed as silently as possible, but there was no such thing as too silent when your bed partner was the longest serving Ranger in history. “Hey baby,” Tommy muttered sleepily. “You back for good?” “Yeah,” Adam answered as Tommy shifted to accommodate the familiar body fitting itself around him. “Alpha managed to fix the Overdrive Ranger’s connection to the grid. Looks like my days as Black Ranger are over again.” Tommy snorted. “Good. I’m tired of you stealing my colors.” “Hey! I was black first,” Adam protested, smiling at the new twist to the old argument. “Maybe, but I was green first. Next thing you know you’ll be looking for ways to be white.” “Possibly,” Adam smirked as he settled his hand on his lover’s stomach, making slow, lazy circles that dipped lower with each circuit. 7:12pm: More Than Words (John/Rodney), SGA
Title: More than Words Fandom: SGA Pairing: McShep (why yes, I did need another pairing like a hole in the head) Rating: G Prompt: Unspoken over at mcsheplets Summary: When Rodney loses his voice, John fills the silence. Note: I'm in total panic mode over my contribution to sg1_jubilee, but this bunny bit me on the way to the grocery store. It was small but fierce, so I gave in. More Than Words
John had always known that Rodney hid behind his words. Somehow, he had failed to notice that he did it too. Apparently being the King of Denial extended beyond the obvious. Occasionally, John had fantasized about an Ancient device that would render Rodney temporarily mute. Who didn’t? But the reality was awful. There was a void where Rodney’s words should have been, and the vacuum their absence created pulled a stream of confessions out of John. One sad look from Rodney across the chess board and everything he’d tried to keep hidden for four and a half years came spilling out in a rush, anything to fill the horrible silence and make Rodney smile again. When he was finally empty of secrets and heartfelt declarations of devotion, John gathered his courage to look up. And discovered that Rodney hadn’t lost his words at all; they were all there in his magnificent, joy filled eyes. Finally. Me Too. Always.

10:30pm: Jack/Daniel Alpha Gate Challenge Response
Title: Five Ways Sam Found Out Fandom: SG-1 Pairing: Jack/Daniel, of course! :) Rating: R for implied sexual situation: Prompt: Missing scene/epilogue challenge over at The Alpha Gate Summary: That first clue might have been a joke. Even with all room for plausible deniability revoked, that first time still might have been a joke.Note: Just to show that I can't follow directions properly, I actually wrote a prequel. My secret author was PhoenixE, which was wonderful in the depth of choices I had and terrifying in the quality of writing I had to attempt to match. After much deliberation and a few false starts I chose Something in Common. This is Sam's journey to the beginning of that story, but I think you can read them in either order. 7:03pm: Jack/Daniel, with a side of John/Rodney, for a good cause.
tzzzz writes: Hopefully, on Tuesday, Californians will be voting down a proposition that will take away the right to gay marriage that was legalized by the California Supreme Court not that long ago. I just posted links to some videos here.
In addition, I think we as part of the SGA fandom and any other fandoms who want to join (please post this around), should take a moment to write some drabbles on the theme of gay marriage. Get ourselves pumped up and maybe donate, or at least chip in. For everyone who writes a drabble or a fic as a comment to this post today, I'll donate a five dollars to the campaign, up to $150 (it would be a lot more if I wasn't a graduate student, trust me). If anyone else wants to make a similar pledge, let me know and I'll add you.

12:09am: Bonus T is for Team for Jack's Alpha-bits
Title: T is for Team Fandom: SG-1 Pairing: None Rating: G Warnings: None Note: This was a angst-y piece I rejected for sg_fignewton 's Alpha-bits SoupThe offer, when it comes, is surprisingly easy to accept. He feels a pang of regret as he’s packing up the last of his things to be sent to his new home in Washington, but it’s really for the best. Generals should not have favorites. Generals who are the last line of defense for the Earth cannot afford to have favorites. And yet, Jack’s famous gut does play favorites. SG-9 is twenty minutes late for a check-in, and Jack has to play it by ear, because he has no idea if they’re twenty minutes closer to being eaten by hostile natives, or just twenty minutes closer to sealing the deal for a big honkin’ spacegun. But SG-1 is two minutes late and Jack’s got the marines gearing up and a medical team on standby. Or sometimes they’re two days late, and Jack sits on his hands because he knows they just need a little more time. So when George Hammond starts to oh-so-casually put out feelers as to his receptiveness to making a cross-country move, Jack makes the appropriate overtures of reluctance, but allows himself to be talked into it. When his team (always his team, that’s part of the problem) comes to him with their plans for moving on, he feels only relief. Carter’s a good officer, maybe too good to ever let this happen to her, but he’s glad she’ll never have to sit in the control room helpless and sick as her team, her family, stumbles back through the gate broken and bleeding. He’s ashamed to admit that giving Mitchell SG-1 is ridiculously easy, because it isn’t his SG-1. Mitchell’s a good guy, but it’d be hard to trust someone else with his kids. Perversely, he’s also happy when Mitchell does ‘get the band back together.’ It’s good to know they’re still out there, watching his back. And he helps when and where he can and dreams of peace and reunion on a lake in Minnesota.

Title: T is for Team Fandom: SG-1 Pairing: None Rating: G Warnings: None Note: Written for sg_fignewton 's Gen Fic DayT is for Team“Dinner time!” Jack announced gaily as he sauntered into Carter’s lab. “Yes, sir,” Sam responded automatically, her attention never wavering from the softly glowing orb in front of her. Daniel was glued to her side, eyes tracking from the orb to his notebook and back again at lightening speed. Jack waited a few seconds for some movement from his doctors. When none was forthcoming he added sternly, “Now.” “You go ahead Jack,” Daniel told him with a hand waved dismissively over his shoulder. “We’ll catch up.” Jack scowled ineffectually at the backs of his team members. “Now means now, kids. Dinner is family time. Afterwards, if your homework is finished, you can play with your new toy some more.” Daniel turned his head slightly to exchange a look with Sam, and Jack suppressed the urge to shift nervously as the linguist turned an irritated eye his direction. He was saved from whatever lecture Daniel had planned for him by the arrival of Teal’c. “Daniel Jackson. Major Carter. I believe it is time to partake of our evening meal.” “Of course, Teal’c,” Daniel said promptly, closing his notebook and standing up with a lazy stretch. Carter was only a second behind him. Jack gaped at them as his three team members strolled casually in the direction of the mess hall. “Hey,” he cried after them. “How come you don’t give him any lip?” His only answer was the flash of two insubordinate smirks as the trio rounded the corner.

Okay, she actually just said it was funny and in character, but I got the hint. I've made lots of changes to the first few paragraphs since then. All glaring errors mistakes are wholly mine. 1:49am: Two more list stories for sg1_five_things
I tried to post these the day of the unscreening, but LJ and I seem to be fighting about cuts. We still are in fact, sorry if I'm messing with your flists while I try to solve the problem. In other sg1_five_things news, it looks like I'll be taking over co-moding duties by the end of the year. I'm very excited and nervous about it. Wish me luck.
